چکیده

Osteomas craniofaciais são entidades raras e poucos casos têm sido descritos na literatura.1,2 São tumores ósseos benignos, caracterizados pela proliferação de osso cortical ou medular, acometendo principalmente adultos jovens.2,3 Osteomas periféricos têm sido descritos em osso frontal, etmoide e seio maxilar, mas são incomuns na mandíbula.3,4 Nesta localização, ocorrem mais frequentemente no ângulo ou côndilo, seguido de corpo mandibular e ramo ascendente.4 Este trabalho tem o objetivo de relatar um caso de osteoma exuberante em face interna do ângulo esquerdo da mandíbula, em paciente assintomática, e que foi tratado cirurgicamente.
